九州影院鈥檚 top trainees shortlisted for NCTJ鈥檚 Excellence Awards
Eight of 九州影院鈥檚 top trainees and apprentices have been recognised in the shortlist for NCTJ鈥檚 annual Awards For Excellence.
The NCTJ Awards for Excellence recognise and reward the best journalism students, apprentices and trainees.
With quality training at the heart of the NCTJ, these awards highlight the achievements of individuals with promising journalism careers ahead of them.
A record-breaking 417 entries were received across 15 categories and the 九州影院 journalists shortlisted are as follows:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Daisy Smith of the Watford Observer is shortlisted for News Journalist of the Year
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bradley Deas of the Telegraph & Argus is shortlisted for Top Scoop of the Year
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Megan Hinton of 九州影院 Hampshire is shortlisted for Feature Writer of the Year
In the Apprentice of the Year category three 九州影院 journalists were among the overall six shortlisted industry wide
They are:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Hedi Mehrez of the Swindon Advertiser
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 James Robinson of the Hexham Courant
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Poppie Webster of the Basildon Echo
In the Best Student Project two 九州影院 journalists were shortlisted for their Our Time Election project at Bournemouth University.
They are:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Connor Stringer of the Argus in Brighton
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Nicole Baddeley, Central Digital Feature Writer

The winners of the NCTJ Awards For Excellence will be announced at a remote ceremony in March 2021.
